Language is the gift we have with which to transform our lives and our communities. Remember if you will when you are a newborn gazing at the world into which you arrived. You look around and see beams of light that keep you entranced. You smile and chortle in moments. Is this not delight? You hear the voice of your mother and father and know this was/ is place of safety and nourishment. This was the beginning of a journey. Then you experience Life unfolding in myriad ways. The journey takes you into and through various situations and stages of life. You become disenchanted; you rebel but are not sure exactly what you desire. Growing through stages, you find terrible and terrifying moments, and you think this is the end. But it is just another beginning. I must remind you that you are the seed of that which created and will be creating in different ways. You are the progenitor of your creations – your life itself.
We are now in a critical time of global and cosmic shifts. We are the cause of all that we create and become. What is your vision for the world that you wish to live in? What is your utmost desire? People call out for peace and an end to violence. People blame governments, production sources, education, politicians, technologies. But this is not the way out. Discord and chaos lead to confusion. Is this the end? It is time for each of us to discover our real values, without which we cannot and will not experience the richness of what it is to be human to our greatest potential. ***

Kara Bernarda, M.A., is a Doctoral Candidate in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at CIIS focusing her dissertation on magnetoreception and ESP. She is a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and an Institute of Heart Math Resilient Educator instructor and product reseller. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Loyola Marymount University and her M.A. in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada Reno, obtained clinical licenses as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and worked as a family consultant supporting profoundly gifted children.
